Description
Gas discharge Tubes (GDT) are classical components for protecting the installations of the telecommunications. It is essential that IT and
telecommunications systems -with their high-grade but sensitive electronic circuits - be protected by arresters. They are thus fitted at
the input of the power supply system together with varistors and at the connection points to telecommunication lines. They have become equally indispensable for protecting base stations in mobile telephone systems as well as extensive cable television (CATV) networks with their repeaters and distribution systems.

說明

氣體放電管(GDT)是用於通訊設備安裝保護的經典元件。IT 與電信系統因具備高階但敏感的電子電路,必須透過避雷保護元件加以防護。因此,GDT 通常與壓敏電阻搭配,安裝於電源系統的輸入端以及通訊線路的連接點。
